Association of Montessori Internationale: AMI is the organization founded in 1929 by Dr. Maria Montessori to maintain the integrity of her life's work and ensure its perpetuation after her death. Montessori Center of Minnesota: The Montessori Center offers courses for parents as well as teachers on various aspects of Montessori education. Bright Water encourages interested parents to attend courses that focus on children in the home environment. MariaMontessori.com: Contemporary articles about Montessori education for parents of toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary children. North American Montessori Teachers' Association: This organization provides a nice overview of Dr. Montessori's life and work. Aid to Life Tips on supporting the natural development of children that are easy to understand and apply. Leaflets, booklets, and DVDs are available on the areas of Movement, Communication, Independence, and Self Discipline.
