Bright Water Montessori Schools offer these programs for children:
Toddler Community: Joyful and spontaneous, our Toddler Community consists of 12 to 14 toddlers ages 16 months to 3 years, a Montessori trained teacher and two assistants. Children's House (Preschool & Kindergarten): The Montessori classroom for 3- to 6--year-olds is called the Children's House. Two Montessori-trained teachers and an assistant guide about 27 children in each beautiful classroom where everything is designed to meet the developmental needs of the children. Children are encouraged to follow their interests, develop a love of learning, and trust in their own abilities. Here children develop physical, social and intellectual independence. Elementary (Kindergarten through Sixth Grade): Bright Water Elementary is a free, urban-based Montessori program designed to inspire students to be passionate, life-long learners, respectful of themselves and all others, and lead North Minneapolis students in closing the achievement gap. Summer Program for Toddlers and Children's House: Students need not be enrolled in the school during the regular school year to participate in Bright Water's summer program, which runs from June through mid-August. Children can attend half or full day. About the Summer Program.
